The film makers choose this track to make people feel scared, they also have it to let the viewer know that it is a horror/thriller film. This effect the film  has on the audience will get emotionally attached to the film. i would describe the music as past paced, high pitch screeching also a cold feeling to it.

I CONOGRAPHY- Costumes, make-up and only props relevent to the genre.

N ARRATIVE- Whats the story about.

C HARACTERS- Who are they? What they like? ( Principle, antagonist- bad, protagonist- good)

S TYLE- Cinematography, sound, editing. What the film will look and feel like.

Title sequences notes

A title sequence is the method by which cinematic films or television programs present their title, key production and cast members, or both, titillating conceptual visuals and sound.

This is important because it gives information on the film, gives insight on the characters, give credit to people, about cast, age range, make first impression. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING.

The opening title sequence of a film is that film's opportunity to make a good first impression on you, the viewer a well crafted title sequence introduces the audience to the tone and theme of the film as well as the cast and crew.

Codes and convention
typically on opening sequences will contain;
-Details of cast and crew.
-the film's title.
-An introduction to character or character type
-Indication on place.
-Indication of historical period.
-Information regarding mood and tone.
-Introduction to signature them tune.
-Information about genre.
-Questions that the viewer finds intriguing( sets up enigmas).
-Patterns and types of editing that will changed in the remainder of the film.
-Mise en scene and cinematography that will be echoed or elaborated upon later in the film.
